I am a recipient of healthcare money, a small veteran’s pension, and my Social Security. I know when people hear this they say “Look what he is costing us”, but am I?
First, let’s take healthcare. I do not receive any cash. That money goes to pay the wages of two healthcare workers, my doctor, his administration, my pharmacist, and the people who manufacture the drugs I recieve. My Social Security pays mortgage, insurance, taxes, and utilities on my home, which provides jobs in each of these industries. I also buy groceries, gas for my automobile, and countless other bills which keep people including shopkeepers, truckers, and the people who publish this newspaper working.
So I ask how is money, which is paid to me, to be the black hole that the people who say we are bankrupting our nation with the mandatory payments paid by our government? The money paid to our teachers, healthcare workers, our workers of every kind. If it keeps passing around, one to another, is not lost.
I feel the biggest loss of money is the salary of these politicians who are crying doom and gloom instead of trying to keep this nation moving! The cry we are printing money which has no backing, will be our ruin, is false. If we keep that money here in the United States buying our products and paying our wages.
The brains in this country use the words protectionism and socialism so they can keep the American people cowered down and lives at a means only dreamed of by the ordinary man.
The American working people remind me of the saying, “We are tiny drops of water, we are tiny grains of sand, but we make a mighty ocean and we make a mighty land”.
We elected President Obama to help us regain our freedom from fear, now lets let him do the job he was elected for, instead of trying to kick him in the rear.

The Blues
The flashes of light and rumbling thunder,
Herald the approach of rain laden breeze.
The breeze intensifies to wind,
As it moves among the trees.
I like the sound of the rain beats,
As they strike my window panes.
But there’s one thing,
I have to agree.
This falling rains that are coming,
Means the blues are here for me.
Don’t ask me why it happens,
For I really can’t explain.
When I hear the sound of water on the roof,
The blues come back again.
The flowing drops of water,
On my window panes.
Make me think of people’s tears,
Often shed in vain.
I sit and wait for the sunshine,
To help ease away my pain.
I soak in the sunshine and wonder,
Why I get the blues when it rains.
Herald the approach of rain laden breeze.

I like the sound of the rain beats,
